Please note the following guidelines for item pickup:

  • Item Condition: All items are sold in as-is condition, and their current state is unknown.

  • Appointment Required: Buyers must schedule a pickup appointment by contacting the seller in advance to confirm a date and time. Without prior confirmation, and without presenting their receipt and valid ID for verification, buyers will not be able to collect their items.

  • Pickup Responsibility: Buyers are solely responsible for picking up and loading their purchased items. No assistance will be provided. Please ensure you bring any necessary help, carts, or equipment for item transportation. Some items may be located down a short hallway.

  • Pickup Deadline: Buyers must retrieve their auction items from the premises within 5 business days from the receipt of payment notification by Public Surplus. Failure to contact the seller within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the auction without refund.

  • Shipping Responsibility: If shipping arrangements are necessary, buyers must organize and cover all associated costs, including boxing, packaging, and shipping. Proper vehicles, equipment, and manpower must be provided for pickup and loading.

 

Sold as is, where is, and there are NO warranties, actual or implied and NO refunds of any kind.  We will answer all questions to the best of our knowledge. We do NOT ship items. Local pick-up ONLY. 

 

 

***Buyers MUST make a pick-up appointment by contacting the seller ahead of time and receiving a date AND time confirmation. Buyers who come unconfirmed, without their receipt, or without their ID for validation WILL NOT be able to receive their item(s). All three of these criteria need to be met before the item(s) can be released. It is the BUYER'S obligation to contact the seller; if no contact is made within the 5 day time limit the auction will be forfeited and NO REFUND will be issued.***

Buyer must pick up or arrange for all shipping, including providing proper vehicles, equipment and manpower required to pickup and load items (Boxing, Packaging and Shipping, as well, if item is to be shipped)

Third Party Pickup: Before property will be released, the winning buyer will be required to send an e-mail (from the winning buyer's e-mail address used for the auction), identifying the representative authorized to pick-up paid item on their behalf. The authorized representative will need to bring the Notice of Award, Paid Receipt (photo copies are acceptable), and their picture identification (such as a Driver License).  We are not responsible for 3rd party couriers.

PLEASE BRING ANY LOADING/MOVING EQUIPMENT YOU DEEM NECESSARY AS NONE IS AVAILABLE. NO PACKAGING OR SHIPPING WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THIS LOCATION

PayMac handles all payments for State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.

Buyers Premium: A 7% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.

Pick-up hours by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item.
