Shipping and Packaging
Void Fill/Cushioning: This is a primary use. The paper is crumpled up and stuffed into shipping boxes to fill empty space (void fill), preventing items from shifting, rattling, and breaking during transit. It's a natural, sustainable alternative to plastic peanuts or bubble wrap.
Wrapping: It's great for wrapping individual products or parts to protect them from scratches, dust, and minor abrasions. It can be used as a cost-effective inner layer of protection.
2. Arts & Crafts
Large-Scale Art Projects: The wide, long roll is perfect for children's art projects, making banners, drawing murals, or using as a backdrop.
Gift Wrapping: It offers a charming, rustic, and natural aesthetic for gift-wrapping. It can be easily customized with stamps, twine, or handwritten messages.
3. Protection and Surface Covering
Table Coverings: It's frequently used in restaurants, schools, or for parties as an economical, disposable, and easily cleanable tablecloth or runner.
Surface Protection: Ideal for covering floors, furniture, or work surfaces during messy projects like painting, gluing, or crafting.

Everything on our site is listed in "AS Is" condition- we offer no guarantees of working condition. We offer NO SHIPPING. Everything is Pick up only. Pick up hours are M-Th 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm.
We encourage customers to make an appointment to view item(s) before bidding. All customers MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT prior to arriving on campus to pick up item(s). If you arrive to the warehouse without an appointment, we make no guarantee that we can assist you. If item is not removed from our facility in 10 days, it will be relisted or disposed of.
The College does not provide any type of shipping or loading help - absolutely no boxing, packaging, shipping or loading assistance in any way. Buyer is responsible for all necessary equipment and manpower to load and secure load.

Washtenaw Community College may require a bid deposit.
PayMac handles all payments for Washtenaw Community College.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Washtenaw Community College will charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
Pick-up hours by appointment only.
The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
