REMOVAL & LOADING REQUIREMENTS

  • Buyer is solely responsible for all loading, removal, shipping, coordination of pickup, and related costs.

  • Some items may be heavy and require special equipment—buyer must supply all workforce, tools, vehicles, and equipment needed.

  • Proper removal equipment is required (e.g., trucks, trailers, vans).

PICKUP & APPOINTMENTS

  • Pickup and item viewing are by appointment only.

  • To ask questions or schedule viewing/pickup, call (309) 434-2730 between 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. CST, Monday–Friday.

  • Buyer must present a paid receipt and identification at pickup.

THIRD-PARTY PICKUP

If someone other than the buyer will remove the item, written or emailed authorization along with a copy of the buyer’s ID is required before release.

City of Bloomington Township may require a bid deposit.

PayMac handles all payments for City of Bloomington Township.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.


City of Bloomington Township may charge applicable sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
