Description
Condition: FAIR

The Town of West Hartford is offering as surplus a used 85’ X 200’ dasher boards, glass and safety netting system. The boards and glass system is 26 years old, in good operating condition and has been maintained since it’s initial installation.

The Boards and Glass  System is being sold “as Is” in its present condition and no warranties are being expressed or implied. It will be the purchaser’s responsibility to remove the Boards and glass from the grounds of Veterans Memorial Ice Skating rink upon completion of the sale.

(System will already be dismantled and removed from inside facility) 

*Removal target date: April 15, 2026

Bid Deposits: the Town may require bid deposits to ensure fairness to all buyers.

PayMac handles all payments for the Town.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.

The Town of West Hartford will charge a sales tax of 6.35%.

Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the Town will not release the item to you.
